2 First Amendment
Поправка гласит: "Конгресс не должен издавать ни одного закона, относящегося к установлению религии либо запрещающего свободное ее исповедание, либо ограничивающего свободу слова или печати, или право народа мирно собираться и обращаться к правительству с петициями об удовлетворении жалоб" ["Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances" (redress of grievances)]. Они были фактически включены в Четырнадцатую поправку [ Fourteenth Amendment] через положения о "надлежащей правовой процедуре" [ due process of law] и "равной защите" [ equal protection clause].English-Russian dictionary of regional studies > First Amendment

16 First Reconstruction Act
English-Russian dictionary of regional studies > First Reconstruction Act

17 Constitutional Amendment
1) Одна из 27 поправок к Конституции США [ Constitution of the United States], принимавшихся с 1791 по 1992. см тж First Amendment, Second Amendment, Third Amendment, Fourth Amendment, Fifth Amendment, Sixth Amendment, Seventh Amendment, Eighth Amendment, Ninth Amendment, Tenth Amendment, Eleventh Amendment, Twelfth Amendment, Thirteenth Amendment, Fourteenth Amendment, Fifteenth Amendment, Sixteenth Amendment, Seventeenth Amendment, Eighteenth Amendment, Nineteenth Amendment, Twentieth Amendment, Twenty-first Amendment, Twenty-second Amendment, Twenty-third Amendment, Twenty-fourth Amendment, Twenty-fifth Amendment, Twenty-sixth Amendment, Twenty-seventh AmendmentEnglish-Russian dictionary of regional studies > Constitutional Amendment
